Tip #1
Clearing Blocks to Wealth & Opportunity
Dear Kindred Spirit,
Today begins your 7-day journey toward Easter—a week traditionally seen as sacred, charged, and full of opportunity for personal renewal.
All over the world, people still begin this powerful window with a simple, quiet ritual that may sound familiar—but carries more weight than we often realize:
Sweeping. Not just for cleanliness—but for clearing out spiritual and energetic debris that blocks wealth, joy, and forward movement.
From Cuba to the Czech Republic, this act is done not for dust, but for destiny.
Your Action Today: Sweep for Prosperity

You will need:
• A broom (the older or more natural, the better—but any will do ( in a pinch)
• A small bowl of salt and/or a few dried herbs (mint, basil, bay leaf, or rosemary)
Special Note: for those of you that are devoted to your vacuum, my recommendation is – vacuum starting at back of house as you desire, complete vacuuming ground / main floor of your home, then repeat over same area with broom, salt and herbs as indicated in these instructions.
Step-by-step:
1. Start at the back of your home—physically or energetically. This could be your back door, your bedroom, or simply the farthest space from your front entrance. Sprinkle the combination of salt and herbs that you have used your intuition to select. I personally, create a blend of salt and a pinch of each of these herbs. I typically target creating about a good cup in total of this blend. Additionally, I prefer to give this prepared blend time to “sit” for about 15-20 minutes, once I have sprinkled it across the entire space - to maximize the overall benefits.
2. Sweep slowly and intentionally toward your front door. Imagine you are brushing away all potential feelings of doubt, fear, lack, old habits, and unseen blocks, that may have accumulated in your space. This is an old method for binding and lifting negativity.
3.. When you reach the door, open it fully, even for a few seconds. Then sweep everything outward across the threshold and say aloud:
“With every broom stroke, I release the old. I welcome the new and positive”
“May prosperity and positivity in all ways find its way into this home.”
Let the door stay open for a breath. Let the new energy have an opportunity come in.

Why This Works (and Where It Comes From)
This custom has ancient roots, and nearly every culture with spring rituals includes this symbolic act of clearing:
• In Southern Italy, families sweep before Good Friday to ensure sorrow, misfortune, and scarcity do not follow them into the new season.
• Among West African spiritual systems, ritual sweeping is done in early spring to call in good spirits, wealth, and clarity.
• In Mexico, especially in rural communities, homes are swept and salted before Palm Sunday to keep envy and misfortune away.
• In Hungary, the Saturday before Easter is called “White Saturday”—a time when floors are scrubbed, straw is burned, and sweeping is done to “banish” misfortune and make way for blessings.
• Even in Japanese spring-cleaning traditions, cleaning around equinoxes is linked with mental renewal and future luck—not just hygiene.
Across cultures, this is the first signal to God/Spirit that you are making room, for renewal and blessings in your home.
A Gentle Reminder:
Today’s energy routine is not about “fixing” yourself. It is about inviting in what is already meant for you—but has been blocked or delayed.
Sometimes, the difference between staying stuck and calling in a breakthrough… is knowing how to clear the way.
Tomorrow’s Energy Tip: “Plant What You Want”
We will explore a method to choose and plant a flower, seed, or herb tied to your heart’s desire—whether that is wealth, love, or peace. It is a global tradition with significant energetic roots.
Until then—open the door. Sweep the way. Encourage your good fortune to find you.
