MEET SAVETA
For more than four decades, Saveta Maria Young has worked with people seeking clarity during some of life’s most uncertain moments. But her understanding of intuition began long before it became her profession.
Her story is one of resilience, faith, curiosity, and a lifelong belief that intuition is not something mysterious to fear—it is a natural human ability that can help us understand ourselves and the world around us.
HER BEGINNING
Learning to Listen Before She Had the Words for It
Saveta’s childhood in Hamilton, Ontario was shaped by circumstances that required resilience from an early age.
When she was four, her father suffered a devastating industrial accident that kept him hospitalized for more than two years. Her family was suddenly plunged into financial hardship, and home life became increasingly difficult.
School—and particularly the library—became a refuge. Books offered Saveta a larger world to explore, while the kindness of her school librarian showed her the lasting impact one compassionate person can have on a child.
It was also during these early years that Saveta began recognizing something she could not yet explain: an unusually strong instinct about people, circumstances, and moments of danger.

HER FIRST TEACHER
The Woman Who Taught Her to Trust Herself
At thirteen, Saveta unexpectedly discovered her paternal grandmother sitting at her kitchen table with another woman, a deck of playing cards spread before them.
That afternoon opened a door.
Her Romanian grandmother gradually began teaching Saveta about the cards, but the more important lesson had little to do with cards themselves. She taught her granddaughter to observe carefully, listen quietly, and trust what she sensed.
More importantly, she demonstrated how intuition should be used—with kindness, fairness, patience, faith, and respect for the person seeking guidance.
Those lessons remain at the centre of Saveta’s work today.

A Different Path Than She Imagined
Finding Her Own Path
At sixteen, Saveta left home and began supporting herself while completing high school, at one point working various part-time jobs.
She initially imagined a very different future. First came an interest in law, followed by an ambition to become a police officer. She studied martial arts and eventually taught women’s self-defence.
On the surface, those pursuits may seem far removed from the work she eventually chose. Looking back, Saveta sees the connection clearly.
Each was rooted in the same instinct: to understand people, seek truth, protect the vulnerable, and help others navigate difficult circumstances.
Her professional path ultimately took another direction, but its purpose remained remarkably consistent.
More Than Four Decades of Listening to People
THE WORK
For more than 44 years, Saveta has worked professionally with people navigating relationships, careers, finances, health concerns, grief, faith, family difficulties, and major life transitions.
What has kept her doing this work is not simply intuition.
It is people.
She has witnessed extraordinary resilience in clients facing profound uncertainty and loss—and has seen people rebuild, forgive, persevere, and discover strength they did not know they possessed.
Being invited into someone’s life during a vulnerable moment is something Saveta has never taken lightly.

Intuition Is Another Way of Paying Attention
HER PHILOSOPHY
Saveta does not believe intuition belongs to a select few.
She believes it is a natural human ability—something each of us experiences differently and something that can become stronger when we learn to observe carefully and listen to ourselves.
Her role is therefore not to make decisions for her clients or tell them how to live.
It is to offer another perspective.
Some circumstances can be changed. Others must be understood and navigated.
Saveta believes meaningful guidance should help people recognize that difference, consider their choices carefully, and ultimately make their own decisions with greater confidence.

Prayer and her Catholic faith have remained important sources of strength throughout Saveta’s life.

Saveta is very proud of her Romanian heritage as her father was born in Bucharest and her grandmother was born in Transylvania.
An avid reader, Saveta remains fascinated by history, psychology, spirituality, health, culture, human behaviour, and the unexplained.

Above everything else, the love of her family remains one of the most grounding influences in her life.

Hope Is Remarkably Resilient.
After decades of sitting with people during moments of uncertainty, Saveta has learned never to underestimate the strength of the human spirit.
Life sometimes brings experiences we would never choose.
Yet she has repeatedly watched people find courage after loss, wisdom through difficulty, and hope in circumstances that once seemed impossible.
For Saveta, a meaningful spiritual life is not about having every answer.
It is about continuing to learn, remaining compassionate, and finding the courage to take the next step.

ONE THING TO REMEMBER

Saveta does not want people to leave an encounter with her believing she somehow possesses something unavailable to them.
Her grandmother taught her to observe. Her father encouraged her to question and learn. Decades of professional practice taught her to refine those instincts with experience.
Her hope is that people who encounter her work become more willing to listen to their own inner wisdom—with discernment, humility, courage, and common sense.
Ultimately, guidance should lead you back to trust in yourself.
